In 2012 New Zealand is back at the Olympic Games.
The NZ Olympic Committee is looking for ten anthemic songs that mirror the ambitions for our great athletes.
Anthem In Black® is a song search for the "soundtrack of a nation" - songs that a Stadium can sing. Play It Strange, Sportsing, APRA and the New Zealand Olympic Committee are running this competition to find TEN songs for the Anthem In Black® CD, each song recorded in a one-day session in a professional studio (see conditions for detail).
The NZ Olympic Committee will promote this CD during the build-up to the Olympic Games.
Songs that a stadium can sing!
Primary and Intermediate Schools (years 1to 8) Ukulele Orchestras are invited to enter this competition.
TWO songs from this division will be chosen to be recorded and included on the ANTHEM IN BLACK CD (10 in total from the 3 divisions).
